Custom Long Plank

Our collection of long plank flooring came about after decades of working in the historic homes of the New Hampshire and Maine Seacoast Region. The wood flooring in these colonial era and later homes was handcrafted from old growth timbers producing flooring of rich character and remarkable proportions that could not be matched by standard wood flooring.

Standard wood flooring is manufactured in widths between 2-1/4” and 5” with lengths from 1’ to 7’ with an average length of about 3.5’. Custom long plank flooring is milled in 3” to 12” widths and lengths up to 16’. These planks fill a room with natural charm and create a bolder, more continuous wood floor.

Because each Floor is custom milled, we source each species from the region that yields the most beautiful and unique lumber of it’s type. Our floors come from around the world , including our own New England Forsts! In addition to our reclaimed woods, many of our species are available FSC Certified making our custom long plank a green flooring option.
