In addition to flooring, Higgins stocks a wide range of domestic and imported lumber options including Red and White Oak, Maple, Birch, Beech, Hickory, Ash, Cherry, Mahogany, and more. We also stock some softwoods like Douglas Fir and Southern Heart Pine.

 

We stock both 4/4 and 5/4 rough lumber, and a good selection of finished boards as well. And since we custom manufacture our own stair treads, we always have lumber on hand in the same species and grades as our flooring options.

We buy a good product to begin with, but because we also work out of the same material to produce stair treads and other millwork, we are able to utilize a lot of the material you have to sort through at other yards.
